This powerful neodymium magnet has a countersunk hole and can be fastened with a countersunk screw. This is one of our top sellers, thanks to its versatility: It is used in the shopfitting industry as well as in plastics engineering, the automotive industry and mechanical engineering and construction. Please also note that these types of magnets are brittle and can break under excessive application of force. Therefore, we recommend a maximum tightening torque of 2 Nm when fastening this magnet.
The following screws can be fitted into the magnet:
- Slotted countersunk wood screw: DIN 97 (3,5 mm)
- Cross recessed countersunk flat head screws (machine screw): ISO 7046-2 M3 (3 mm)
- Hexalobular socket countersunk flat head screws (machine screw): ISO 14581 M3 (3 mm)
- Hexagon socket countersunk flat head screws (machine screw): ISO 10642 M3 (3 mm)
